THE MESSENGER DOGS – TALES OF WWI
Today I had the pleasure to meet the grade 6 children of Seabrook Primary School Point Cook, witness the “Anzac Centenary – Victoria’s Journey of Remembrance” roadshow perform and formally launch “Messenger Dogs – Tales of WWI”.
“Messenger Dogs” is a new free primary school puppet roadshow that will educate prep to grade 6 students about the First World War.
Using puppets and messenger dogs Nell, Trick and Bullet, primary school students will be told the story of WWl from a different perspective. Educating students will ensure the stories of WWl are kept alive for future generations.
“Messenger Dogs” is a key initiative of the Victorian Government and will commence touring on 22 August 2016.
