  • $410,000 of funding to create a pedestrian crossing on Milleara Road, Keilor East near the Centreway Pedestrian Crossing

  • Keilor Heights Primary School to be upgraded
  • School capital funding: Aberfeldie Primary School ($1.13 million), Ave Maria College ($500,000), Avondale Primary School ($20,000)
  • Camps, Uniforms and Excursions Fund 2015-2016: Parents supported (2,082), students supported (2,835), total amount paid ($493,675)
  • Mission Australia Early Learning Service Keilor to participate in the Let’s Count Program for semester 1
  • $1.4 million funding to upgrade and modernise Aberfeldie Primary School
  • $7.3 million to upgrade and modernise facilities at Western Autistic School – Niddrie Campus


  • VicHealth Active Club grants 2016: Taylors Lakes Recreation Club Inc. ($2,999)
  • VicHealth Active Club grants 2017: North West Wolves Rugby League Club Inc ($3,000), AVONDE CALISTHENICS COLLEGE INC. ($3,000)
  • Sporting Club Grants 2016: Aberfeldie Park Cricket Club ($1,000), PEGS Football Club Inc ($1,000 for uniforms), PEGS Soccer Club Incorporated ($1,000 for equipment), Keilor Park Sports Club Co-operative ($1,738), PEGS Football Club Inc ($4,680), PEGS Soccer Club Incorporated ($5,000)
  • Sporting Club Grants 2017: Keilor Sports Club ($6,000), Keilor Softball Club ($1,000)
  • $3 million East Keilor Leisure Centre Redevelopment, funding will provide for a new leisure centre comprising of a hydrotherapy pool, learn to swim pool, 25m indoor pool, 50m outdoor heated pool, gymnasium, consulting rooms and upgrades to the car park
  • $10 million funding for a Melbourne Victory Centre of Excellence


  • Children’s Week 2017 grants: Moonee Valley City Council – The Power of Education ($500)
  • $500,000 funding to Melton Community Support Group to deliver coordinated programs and activities for young people and families from culturally diverse backgrounds

  • Men’s Family Violence Funding: Djerriwarrh Health ($208,706), Relationships Australia ($359,289) and Lifeworks Relationship Counselling and Education Services  ($359,875)


  • Victorian Litter Innovation Fund Round 1: Brimbank City Council ($13,000)
  • Community Shade Grants round 1: Keilor Football Club ($48,000), Essendon Maribyrnong Park Ladies Cricket Club Inc ($3,024.66), Keilor Tennis Club ($5,000)
  • Community Shade Grants round 2: Airport West St Christopher’s Cricket Club ($3,881.82), Brimbank Little Athletics Centre ($4,240.00), Keilor over 50’s Recreation Club ($94)


  • Established the Jobs Victoria Employment Network which provides intensive support to those unable to get a job
  • Back to Work Scheme providing financial incentives of up to $11,000 per worker for businesses that hire ex-automotive workers


  • Established the Automotive Supply Chain Transition Program, offering support to supply chain companies to develop new business plans
  • Established the Local Industry Fund for Transition which has funded 33 projects, generated over $160 million in investments and created 864 jobs

Public Transport:

  • Introduction of a Bus Route to Niddrie Valley Lake Estate
